Kyle’s Story
Kyle Sears is a devoted follower of Christ, a Certified Christian Conciliator™ and a practicing attorney living in Houston. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Law and has represented hundreds of clients in conflict throughout Texas.
Through a law career that spans more than three decades, Kyle has seen how disputes between friends, family members, and business associates are caused and how they can escalate. For years, though, he sought an alternative process to help others of faith resolve disputes in a way that was consistent with Biblical principles.
His breakthrough came in 2001 when he attended a seminar on Biblical dispute resolution. What he discovered was a different process for solving conflict that was based on Scripture, along with analyzing the cause and remedy for conflict based on God’s Word.
Following an intensive 40-week training program with The Institute for Christian Conciliation, he began to accumulate practical experience. In 2012 he acquired his certification, making him a Certified Christian Conciliator™. There are currently fewer than 200 practicing in the United States.
Kyle’s Approach to Christian Conflict Resolution
Kyle draws on his extensive experience in the legal world to identify questions, conversations, and solutions that bring participants together rather than dividing them.
Unlike litigation, Biblical conflict resolution involves restoring relationships and creating opportunities for blessings. As a Certified Christian Conciliator™, Kyle is qualified to use this process in disagreements of virtually any nature. He has used his education and experience to help individuals and family members resolve personal and business disputes.
Kyle views his work as a Certified Christian Conciliator™ as a calling. If you have a situation in which believers are in disagreement and want real solutions that will help resolve disputes while obeying Scripture, he may be able to help.
